John Padget qualifies as a solicitor and joins our Private Client department
We are pleased to announce that John Padget has completed his training and is now a fully qualified solicitor.
He originally completed his degree in politics at the University of Warwick and spent a few years working in marketing and project management in London.
But his determination to pursue a career in law saw him join the Wallace Robinson & Morgan training programme after concluding his legal education at the College of Law in Birmingham.
John joined us in May 2012 and was appointed as an Assistant Solicitor in our Wills and Probate department.
During his extensive training he gained experience in the full range of the firm's legal services, but is now specialising in Private Client work, including:
• the drafting of Wills
• drafting and administration of powers of attorney
• the administration of estates after death (Probate)
• trust administration
• and all related matters.
John will be able to see clients at either of our offices.
A few words from John
“I am very pleased to have completed my training which allowed me to develop my knowledge and skills across a wide variety of legal areas. I gained a great deal of experience during the 12 months I spent in the Private Client department. I am very excited about joining the team now that I am qualified and I am confident that I will be able to give a high quality service to our clients”
And from Valerie, head of our Private Client department
“John acquitted himself very well throughout his training. He is diligent and works well with clients and we are delighted to have him in our very busy team”
Our successful scheme for trainee solicitors
We’re proud of our long established and successful scheme for trainee solicitors.
The majority of the firm’s trainees remain with us after they qualify, going on to ‘rise up through the ranks’. Currently, three of the five directors at Wallace Robinson & Morgan started their legal career as trainees with the firm.
