Our Brain Tumour Charity Row for It Update

In May 2016, our rowing team completed the Brain Tumour Charity Row For It challenge.

And we smashed our fund-raising target of £1,000, raising an incredible £1,760! A massive ‘thank you’ to everybody who contributed.

Our amazing team

Our amazing rowing team were Anna, Paul, Tim, Malik, Louise, Maria, Charlotte J, Charlotte F, Dan, Samantha, Heidi and Sharon.

Thank you so much to all who participated and made this possible.

There were a few aching muscles the next day but they showed great determination and team work.

A great success

Over 60 people took on the rowing challenge, 3 World Records and 4 British Records were broken and collectively, over a million metres were travelled. That’s the equivalent of travelling the full length of the UK!

The event raised over £22,500, smashing the previous year’s total and providing a much needed boost to a charity we passionately support.

The money raised will help the Brain Tumour Charity invest further into brain tumour research, which is so desperately needed.

Every penny raised will help bring us closer to a cure for brain tumours, so the efforts really have made a difference to the lives of people living with brain tumours, both now and in the future.
