Wallace Robinson & Morgan gain new Law Society quality award

We are proud to announce we have become one of the first 20 practices in the country to secure membership to the Law Society's new Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS).

What is WIQS?

WIQS is the first recognised quality standard for Wills and Estate Administration in England and Wales.

The scheme is only available to practices that are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and offer Will drafting, probate, and estate administration services.

Wallace Robinson & Morgan have undergone a rigorous assessment to gain the WIQS accreditation.

We were also required to undertake compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits, and annual reviews in order to maintain our new status.

A word from Valerie

Valerie Warner, head of our Wills & Probate team said:

“We are very pleased to have gained the WIQS accreditation as it is recognition of our high standards of practice and commitment to client care.

We hope that the Law Society’s scheme will help to highlight the importance of using a solicitor for Will writing and estate management.

Anyone can set themselves up as a Will writer, but only a law firm like Wallace Robinson & Morgan with qualified solicitors meeting high standards can be a member of WIQS. Only qualified Solicitors have the breadth of training to consider wider implications including tax and family law.

Our Wills and Probate solicitors provide a first-rate and sensitive service covering all aspects of Will drafting and the administration of estates. We have significant expertise in dealing with all elderly client issues.”
