WRM Good Solicitors raise money for WillAid
Wallace Robinson & Morgan were one of the firms of "Good Solicitors" who participated in the national Will Aid charity event during November 2011.
Our qualified solicitors raised £4,035 by drawing up a FREE Will for their Will Aid clients and, in return, asked that the will-maker makes a donation to the Will Aid charities.
Will Aid raised £2.1m in donations
Nationally the Will Aid campaign raised £2.1m in donations, the biggest total they have ever achieved for nine of the UK's best known charities: ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Sightsavers, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (N. Ireland).
The money raised is shared by the participating charities and is put to work helping children, families, older people and whole communities in the UK and around the world.
Making a Will is straightforward
Making a Will is a straightforward, simple and an important way of protecting family and loved ones in the future.
Yet it is surprising that fewer than half of people have made one. Most say they simply haven't got around to it and yet it is one of the most thoughtful and important things we can do to protect those we love.
It can take years to sort out someone's estate if they die without a Will, leaving their nearest and dearest in great distress.
