Paul Hughes went to school in Stoke-on-Trent before attending Birmingham University to study law. Paul joined Wallace Robinson & Morgan in 1984 and became a partner in 1986, having qualified with another Birmingham firm in 1981.
Paul is the legal advisor to a large nationwide member organisation representing the interests of small businesses. He also specialises in dental practice work, in particular the sale and purchase of practices.
Paul is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) – the mark of excellence for the home buying process.
He is also an accredited member of the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS). This shows that he follows best practice procedures to meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service in providing tailored Wills and Probate advice to his clients.
A little more about Paul
Out of the office Paul has, since 1998, served on the board of governors at Dorridge Junior School and Dorridge Nursery & Infant School where his children went to school. He is also the Chairman of the Family Care Trust, a local charity caring for people with mental illness and learning difficulties through day centres, community support and various projects. Paul finds these voluntary positions very rewarding and a good way of establishing links with the local community.
Having been a football referee since he was 18 years old, Paul now concentrates more on watching Stoke City where he is a season ticket holder. Cricket, rugby, golf and virtually any other sport are also enjoyed.
Paul also takes part in local fun runs and has run in the Great North Run on 3 occasions to raise money for charity. The 2012 run was in aid of Brain Tumour UK (previously the Joseph Foote Trust), a charity which the firm supports.
