Following a relationship breakdown it can be a very difficult time, especially if you are moving house too.
Our specialist Residential Conveyancing team, led by two senior partners, aim to reduce any stress or anxiety by efficiently handling the conveyancing process.
Our experts can help you buy or sell your property, transfer equity, and re-mortgage.
A qualified solicitor with experience and expertise in all aspects of property law will be dealing with your transaction, and we provide continuing advice and assistance throughout the entire transaction.
We liaise directly with you, our family department, the estate agents, and your ex-partner’s solicitors to ensure that all parties are kept up-to-date with developments.
Fixed Fee service
Furthermore, the service we provide is fixed fee.
This means that there is no additional bill if the transaction becomes more time consuming or complicated than envisaged.
Also there are no hidden charges for “extras” such as postage, photocopying, money laundering check, or completing a stamp duty form.
We will also provide you with clear information detailing how much money each party will receive following any sale, or how much money is required from each party prior to completion. We will send this information to both parties involved.
If the transaction becomes abortive before contracts are exchanged we will not charge our fee. We do not charge an additional fee for acting for your lender in repaying any mortgages.
We offer flexibility with appointments to fit in with your schedule. We can see you early in the morning, over lunchtime or early evening if that is more convenient for you than usual office hours. We are also happy to see both parties separately.
We do not pay referral fees to estate agents so our independence and integrity is not compromised. We are always acting in the interests of our client.
We were one of the first practices in the country to secure membership to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), which is the mark of excellence for the home buying process.
